Dental assistants are an essential part of every Heartland Dental supported office. You will help the dentist handle instruments and supplies during procedures, plus document patient care, take X-rays, impressions, and more. Beyond your certification, procedural expertise, and ability to collaborate with supervising clinicians, we recognize that dental assistants are accountable, reliable, and outgoing professionals who help foster a positive team-building culture every day and who are eager to learn.
Vacations, sick leave, and mental health days are critical. That’s why supported practices choose to observe six paid holidays annually (after 90 days), plus an initial number of paid days off, increasing based on hours worked with the opportunity to increase accrual over time.
Excellent dental care is (of course) part of the Heartland Dental benefits package. Heartland Dental and our supported practices also offer a selection of healthcare and vision care options to fit your unique personal and family needs.
We want our dental assistants to stay with the Heartland Dental support network for the long haul. Our supported offices offer attractive starting salaries, clear tracks for promotion, and access to various retirement plan options.
Doing your best work for your patients is rewarding, but there’s also more to life than your career. Heartland Dental's supported offices strive to create an environment that encourages you to thrive inside the office and out.
At Heartland Dental, we are invested in your personal and professional growth. We provide live and online continuing education courses, one-on-one training and guidance with a mentor, opportunities to become a mentor yourself, and other options to advance your career.
When you join the Heartland Dental support network, you’ll discover rewarding new opportunities to support your community. From sponsoring the local tee-ball team to Free Dentistry Days, Heartland Dental supported offices are committed to giving back to the people and places around them. And because of your skill with patients, you’ll make a direct impact on community health and well-being.
